what is accepted.
and what is not.
but in order to be.
i have to find.
who i am.
or better yet.
who i was.
and now i know.
to heal.
myself.

the child within.
who has hurt for so long.
and knows nothing else.
but hurt.
just hurt.
to give it.
to receive it.
no child should feel that.
a child is innocent.
a child should feel love.
to give it.

but i am not a child.
